Lot Bought

Steve and I are building a house. We looked and looked for a new home for years. (Maybe not intensely though.) I like the convenience of living in Peoria: 9 minutes to work, close to the girl's schools, so I can run up there during the day if the need arises, and close to shopping restaurants, etc. We are getting very claustrophobic in the home we have been in for 17 years.

In July, Steve found a lot for sale by owner on Isabell. Put in an offer and we closed on Aug. 15th. So Steve has 2 yards to take care of now. My dad works for LS Lumber and will be helping us build. We currently have a house plan being drawn up at LS. I'm picking up prints today. We are getting excited. A little worried about all the decisions to be made. I'm going to my dad's on Friday to discuss the plans. Then we need to talk to the Contractor, then the Bank!!
