I'm sick

I think I caught a flu bug. Jackie and I both are coughing, fever, body aches... I stayed home from work. I can't remember the last time I stayed home, because I was the sick one. I feel pretty good while the meds are working, but I can tell when they start wearing off. It started on Friday, and I'm hoping I'm over the worst of it. Jackie had a slight fever this morning 100.2, but didn't want to stay home and wreck her chance of perfect attendance this year. She has never made perfect attendance. She wants to get the medal. I told her I would buy her a medal if she really didn't feel well. She swallowed an ibuprofen and left for school. Here is Josie, the Fall Fairy, and my great-niece Bailey, Snow White. Lara brought her over, so we could see her costume. She is such a cutie.

So I haven't been to the lot since Thurs.,and I had to go or go crazy. So I figured since I had to go out of the house to pick Josie up from latchkey, we would just swing by the lot. The guys were putting up the forms for the poured basement walls. I hope they can pour tomorrow, because I think it is supposed to rain on Wed.

With the forms up the area looks smaller. A friend of mine at work told me that throughout the process the house will look bigger and then smaller, then bigger, etc. This was about 3:45, and they are going to run out of daylight soon.

I'm so excited that we almost have walls!!!!
